Considerable uncertainty

Carl Bildt, Sweden's foreign minister, is attending the meeting of foreign ministers of the Nordic countries and the Baltic states being held in Pärnu, Estonia. The agenda includes discussions on the situation in Georgia and on the relations between the European Union and Russia, the Baltic Sea strategy, issues connected to Afghanistan and the EU’s relations with Ukraine and with Moldova.

Yesterday among other things, Bildt writes,

We tried to interpret in more detail what the real outcome of President Sarkozy's deliberations in Moscow was.

The uncertainty is considerable.

(Vi försökte att mer i detalj uttolka vad som var det verkliga utfallet av president Sarkozys överläggningar i Moskva.

Osäkerheten är betydande.)
